So its now one week before our Dinner and Dance 2008.....and time to shop for clothes.
Today i met up with a few of the guys in my class to go Bugis to shop for suitable outfits for our prom....and I pretty much kept within my budget of 100 dollars.
I only spent 60 bucks on a shirt and several accessories.. i guess i saved because i already have a pair of leathers and pants at home. We mainly shopped at Bugis Street...but we also browsed at Topman, Giodarno and Bossini at Bugis Juction. Too bad we couldn't find a Bata...so we just have to get shoes on our own.
I also saw this really chic shirt at Bugis street...it had silver ribbons and frills and looked quite eclectic overall, which suits my taste, so I bought it to wear at Christmas parties.
Interestingly we also met Gladys and her cousin, who happened to be in the vicinity due to some reason which i cant recall.
Total expenditure today is just under 95 bucks. So we shopped from 1 to 6 and then ate dinner at the nearby kopitiam...and then we went home.
Last stop for me was Borders at Wheelock Place, as I still havent spent my Borders voucher we won at SSEF this year. Having earmarked the books I want makes it easier to get them the next time I go there with my SSEF buddies.
I never really bothered about dressing for the occasion, but this might be one of the rare occasions i guess.
Can't wait for D&D to come!
