Today has been one heck of an exciting and interesting day.

I went out at 12pm to catch Prince Caspian at the Cathay with Evonne, Linette, Jasmine, Ruth and Maoxiang and Pearlyn. The movie in terms of action and thrills was good enough, the rest of it was quite disappointing for me, especially the corruption of several main spiritual themes in the book. Quite disappointed. In fact I shall write a review soon on why Prince Caspian is such a let down, as well as being slightly atheist in theme. Anyhow ignoring this, and Ben Barnes' colourless acting, and the almost complete absence of Aslan, and the portrayal of Peter as having qualities more befitting a scullery maid than a high kning, the movie is passable.

The show ended around 4:30, then we walked down to Raffles City to do some aimless wondering. (When you're alone with a group of 5 girls theres always bound to be some aimless shopping, which is actually a waste of time but its ok. I had a lot of time to waste.) So just show some tolerance haha. Then Evonne realised her wallet went missing so we backtracked to Cathay to look for it and thank God she eventually found it.

Crisisover, time for more aimless shopping at the Cathay. It was around 6 that I excused myself and went to meet up with Someone. Then I had a hurried dinner at plaza Sing and rushed down to the Esplanade, because I had another concert there to attend. The concert was scheduled at 1930 hrs. I reached there at 1935hrs. And I realised that the Esplanade had very strict rules on timing. Another 30 seconds late and I would have been locked out.

The concert was a Symphony of the music written for Lord of the Rings triology, composed and directed by none other than Howard Shore. Complete with sketchbook drawings of movie scenes by some renowned artists, it was truly manificent. Worth every cent of the $16 I paid and more. Again, when I have time I will write a review of it too.

By the time it ended and I reached back to Raffles City, it was already 10pm. spent some time browsing at mph then finally left for home at 1030pm. Reached my house at 1130pm.

More next time ciao!
