HaHAHAHAHA! What a success!

I just composed and played my very first song yesterday for the Farewell cum welcome dinner for Chariskidz teachers. Considering its my first composition, i was unnaturally quite stressed so i couldn't enjoy the fantastic food haha

Wells the song is titled Because You Gave and i dedicated it to:

My Lord and Saviour King, who gave me the inspiration to carry out this otherwise crazy idea,

Huishan, QingWei and Yanchoo, for their service to the Lord in children's ministry,

Tingan, Ethel and Peiqi as an inspiration for them as they embark on this journey with us,

And lastly to the rest of us teachers, as an encouragement and reminder of our purpose of serving.

The song turned out quite well on guitar though Huishan and Jinpei said i needed to improve and standardise my strumming then it would have been perfect. Im not sure but i think i did quite badly....it was much better when i practised it at home...

Not much comment from the others though but I'm getting a very gratifying experience of satisfaction having composed, wrote and performed a piece in just over a day.
