Dang...its horrible being sick...yesterday in class my nose kept running and I had a splitting headache and fever, so I decided to take MC today, becoz today is my chinese Oral exam, so can rest at home. I'm better now, but then I've missed 1 day of lessons.
Today's Oral went as expected, but I think I would have done better if I was well. It's over anyway...

hello..i'm back...
finally theres a chance to rest at home, though must not forget to revise.
nothing much happening otherwise, so nothing much to write about.
theres one thing though....
Recently I bought this book, "Eldest", by Christopher Paolini, and so far its quite an interesting read.
its quite long, about 650 pages abt half an A4 size, so you can imagine how thick, so thick, in fact, that the hardcover and softcover weigh about as heavy.
This book is the sequel to the first book I bought in April, "Eragon", which is about a boy named Eragon who finds a dragon egg, which hatches, which brings him lots of troubles, which forces him to flee with his dragon and his impromptu teacher in all things magical.
To cut it short, this is a fantasy tale with a difference, it connects more personally with the reader and doesn't bore with long, meaningless tales anda thousand alien characters, places, events, etc that really tire the reader.
Its long, but sweet and concise, and its numerous short chapters make for light reading.
This book, Eldest, continues where the author left off, and follows the same short chapter structure of Eragon. It is twice as long though, and more characters and places, some of which are actually quite trivial are mentioned.
The slow buildup of suspense and tension, though, makes up for that. Right now i'm at page 207 or so. I highly recommend this book and Eragon.
qther than this, not much's happening, though it keeps raining here in Yishun.
